Worst freezer ever

I have owned 8 upright freezers and this is the worst. The temperature will not go below 15 degrees. When I called the place of purchase they sent out a company and they told me that everything was working fine. I disagreed as I have had many other brands of up wright freezers. The technician then told me that to meet the government guidelines, currant appliances are made that are not as good as older appliances. After losing a lot of food, I threw out this freezer as the appliance store would do nothing.

This Amana freezer replaced our 46 year old Amana freezer. Wish it was the 23 cu but will do with two 17 cu Amana freezers. Love the freezers. Wanted a manual defrost and these are the last available.

My wife and I were disappointed with the dull lighting and no bottom drawer. I asked Russels's Appliance if a bottom drawer was available, if a brighter was available and what was the hole in the back bottom right inside the freezer was for? They didn't know what the hole was for and indicated that no drawer was available and no answer for a brighter lighting.

This freezer is a perfect replacement for our old model. The extra storage on the door is a great feature. It is much more energy efficient and is super quiet!

I bought an Amana upright freezer a short time ago and am very happy with its performance. The food stays very hard and the ice cream is frozen solid. It does not run constantly either which seems to be good energy savings. This new freezer replaced a 25 year old Amana upright that I had. It gave me such excellent service all these years that I only wanted another Amana to replace it.

So Happy with my upright. I can see all the food, don't need to dig to find something. I rotate food by putting new things in the bottom and move up the older food. Love the big door for smaller items.

I bought this freezer about 2 weeks ago as an emergency purchase, after my old freezer suddenly quit!! After my dealer installed this new freezer, it quickly cooled down to a temperature of about -20 after just a few hours. Since then it has consistently maintained a temperature of approximately -15 at a thermostat setting of 3. So I'm well pleased with its cooling capacity. And, I really like that this one has rollers and a reversible door!!

Bought our new Amana Manual defrost for a whole beef. It was light weight to bring home. It is on roller and just the size I was looking for. Cooled down super fast. We are very well please and would buy Amana again.

We bought our Amana about 3 months ago and we are very happy with it. It has the same amount of cubic feet as our last freezer but it is thinner and taller.The sleek design makes it fit in our basement great. We couldn't be more happy with it.

We bought this freezer with out knowing much about it. And I must say we are totally satisfied. Great storage space and shelves. Keeps stuff frozen with out ice build up. No freezer burn. And runs very quietly. We would recommend this to anyone. We love it!
