My old dinosaur of a freezer (30 years) left me with a freezer full of wasted meat and berries, I was so appreciative of my appliance rep, he rushed out a freezer for me and gave me a great deal at the same time.

We had a chest freezer, then replaced it with the new upright. No longer, am I hanging over the edge trying to find packages of food! I can find everything, so convenient!

We have had this freezer for 2 months and are pleased with the energy efficiency and the way it sucks closed, no accidental door opening. I do miss the slide out basket in the bottom.

I bought this one, last month. I have three LG refrigerators, it was not enough to put frozen food in to it. I always waste my time to put stuffs in it. After I purchase, my other refrigerator's freezer section has lots of room to put everything in it. I am free to re-organize frozen pack of foods. Love it so much!!!

The freezer was an excellent purchase. The freezer seals tight and does not get ice build up. I love that when you shut the door, you can hear the door seal. It stores a lot, which is great since we butcher our own beef. It stores a lot but does not take up a ton of space. The temperature is consistently as cold as I like it to be for my products inside. I would highly recommend this deep freeze to anyone.

I recently purchased my new upright freezer. I love it. It is so much bigger inside than my old freezer was. The space is incredible - I'm still working on filling it up! Food freezes fast. I wish I would have bought sooner!

This freezer has a great capacity and, most importantly, it has good visibility so you can see what foods you have in it. It is easy to open and close, and has good lighting inside. It is quiet, and seems to be quite efficient.

We were so tired of digging to the bottom of our 1964 giant chest freezer that ran all the time and so loudly. So we researched and found this great upright freezer. It holds so much food and I can organize it by shelf. The door holds a lot too. We got the non frost free freezer so our ice cream stays creamy and our food doesn't dry out. It doesn't get very much ice at all. It looks as though it will be easy to defrost. Our electric bill has been down as it is the energy efficient one. And it runs so quietly we often check to make sure it is on! We have other Whirlpool appliances and have always been happy with them.

We bought this about 2 months ago. This freezer actually replaces 2 freezers. We are home canners and hunters and could never find what we wanted in the other freezers. This Maytag freezer has ample space and we love the fact that we can store so much in the door. We feel like we can always find what we are looking for. Very, very spacious.

We bought this freezer 3 months ago and I couldn't be more happier. I wanted a freezer for freezer meals, 1/4 cow, bread (I buy extra when on sale), cookie dough for impromptu school/work treats, etc. We purchased an upright so I do not have to dig through food items in a chest style. I grew up with a chest and previously used an upright in a former rental home. We also wanted the manual defrost because it requires little work and saves you extra money on monthly energy costs. We love the size and convenience it provides. We placed it in the garage (which is closest to the kitchen) and it is extremely quiet.

Once again, Whirlpool to the rescue! I love my new deep freezer. I bought it to replace a large chest freezer and I can honestly say I will never buy a chest freezer again. My new upright freezer is the best. Everything fits in it and you can see everything. No more throwing away food because it was concealed and went bad. Thanks Whirlpool for a great product at a decent price.

I purchased this freezer to replace a small chest freezer. It is very quiet, takes up a lot less floor space, and there is a ton of room for everything I need to keep frozen. I don't have to worry if the door is shut since I can actually hear it being sealed any time I shut the door. It's also much more convenient than my chest freezer since I can see everything in it and not have to dig around looking for stuff.

We recently purchased this freezer based on two features; large capacity and manual defrost. We are very please thus far with this purchase. The freezer looks great, has a sleek design, and loads of room inside. The shelves are spaced appropriately and the bin at the bottom of the freezer is nicely designed. An added feature is the light which enables us to see everything in the freezer. Also, we have found the noise level to be minimal and the door seal very secure.
