We bought this a month ago it is very nice we have washed several times now and it works very well it will wash with a minimal amount of water and you can push deep fill to add more water the stainless steel tub is awesome and at 4.8 cubic feet its the perfect size. We have had no issues so far.

Totally Angry and Disappointed

On June 24 2024 we purchased a WT 7155 CW washing machine at Lowes. It was delivered on June 28. On July 12 we found that there was a leak underneath the machine leaving a large puddle on the floor after the wash cycle. We had to dry out the laundry room so as to prevent mold. On July 13 I contacted LG Customer Care to request warranty service. We had our first service call on June 24. The leak could not be located. Later that day I discovered the leak was from the fill valve. We are now awaiting the service company to come and install a new fill valve. I have just been advised that the service company cannot be here until August 5th. As of the August 5th date we will have been without the washing machine for 24 days. I have been in repeated contact with LG Customer Service an LG Presidential Liaison and the president of LG USA. We were hoping to get this machine exchanged but that is not to be. In the meantime we are sitting here waiting and hoping to get this machine repaired. A side note: Im 82 and my wife is 81 and it is very inconvenient physically taxing and expensive having to go to the laundromat twice a week. As far as machine operation my wife who does the laundry is VERY dissatisfied. She says that not enough water comes into the machine to even cover the clothes. She has watched an entire wash cycle and has seen that parts of the load never get submerged in the water. She has also noticed that even less water comes in during the rinse cycle. Using the Deep Fill function fills the entire tub. So much for water conservation. All in all were very disappointed with this machine and very very angry and disappointed with LG as a whole. PS: Will I get entered in the $500 lottery? I doubt that anyone will actually read this review except those that will see it on Google Reviews.

Should have lasted longer

2 years out and already waiting on a repair which is its own nightmare. The company LG contracted out is the worst company I have had to deal with and am STILL waiting for the part to be replaced which means we are still without a machine. If this machine would have been built to last more than 2 years before breaking I wouldnt be in this mess. LG quality seems to have greatly declined. The washer has had issues for a few months with erroring out and then trying to keep refilling the tub instead of completing the wash cycle. In those instances I would have to turn off the washer let it drain and then start it over. Recently the machine doesnt recognize when it has enough water and just keeps filling the tub risking overflowing. Before I could stop it and turn it back on to finish the cycle but finally it broke enough to not go past the filling stage. Also water would constantly drip into the tub when not in use. I expected this machine to last much longer before being so broken. We used it as directed no overloading no non-clothing items. I chalk this up to planned obsolescence.

Been using new washer for a couple of months and so far we like it. On normal wash it doesnt use nearly as much water as our old washer but if we want more we just use the Deep Fill option or Deep Wash cycle. I also like the option to select extra rinse if needed. Seems like a good quality machine hope it will last a long time.

2 inlet valves faulty in 5 months

A piece of garbage. The water valve went bad after 2 months. A tech replaced it and the 2nd water valve went bad after another 2 months. I called to have a 3rd valve ordered. The tech said he would order one and I never heard from him again. A horrible loud noise the entire machine vibrates when the valve kicks in to fill the drum. Takes over 30 mins to just to fill the washer. Constantly stops/starts filling and drum spins all BEFORE the cycle even starts I did my research on class action lawsuits and found out that theres four models that are not limited to the four models in the lawsuit so you can add this one to it. The valves go bad and causes water hammering. The problem goes back for YEARS regarding this issue. There was finally a class action lawsuit put out against them because of the internal valves and apparently they are still manufacturing their machines with these defective valves because the problem is still going on. Ive never experienced anything so horrible in my life. I will never own another LG product again.

Im very impressed with my LG washer and dryer. On the washer if you select DEEP WASH and DEEP FILL you will get a full tub of water and a nice clean wash. Love how fast the Dryer is 45 min. to dry a load.

Purchased and waited a while for it to be delivered. Invested a long time in selecting so I didnt mind the wait as my 20+ year old version was still rustilly chugging along. When I purchase an advanced machine with turbo agitation etc I would expect that it comes with the basics like a soak cycle to allow me to soak my white linens n things. I thought I was not understanding the machine as it would auto empty all the water detergent and bleach. Finally called K customer service to be informed that there is NO soak function. REALLY LG. To make matters worse the programming prevents selection of quick wash using hot water. If I select hot water wash again the programming opens cold water inlet while filling for wash cycle. To get the enough water to allow clothes to flow freely in water and not be bunched like a cramped train during rush hour I have to trick the machine by adding a bucket of water to the load. Otherwise I notice fuzz on the inside of my dark yoga pants. My opinion too much programming . Its my machine Im the boss of it. If I want to soak my clothes foan 2 hours I should If I wast to was in HOT water I should. If I dont want my clothes washing for 59 minutes but want a quick wash in Hot water.I should get to decide NOT THE MACHINE. Not to be a total downer love the capacity

I also went back to an agitator in the middle so my clothes would get clean. I absolutely love this washer It has many different options for washing and I opted for the one with the agitator because I feel like it gets the clothing cleaner. It also has a pleasant chiming sounds instead of a loud blast when the cycle starts and finishes. Very relaxing. I have had it for a month now and do not mind doing the laundry. I will say that if you want this wxcellent machine you need to order from Lowes. Much better service than Hone depot who sold it but didnt have any in stock.

I bought this a month ago and so far I am very happy with it. It is more room than my previous washer and it is very smart. I gave it a 4 because I put the liquid fabric softner in the dispenser and several times the clothes had some on it when the wash load was done and I had to hand wash a few items to make it look better. This ocured on my black items and was very noticeable. The load was a medium size and loosely placed in the tub. Otherwise I like it very much so far.

I purchased this unit approximately three weeks ago. On the first load the motor failed. After staying on the phone for over an hour LG told me it was a major problem and connected me back to where I made the purchase. And they have yet to make right the clothes that were ruined by the water fill.

More water and less soap

I bought this washer 2 months ago and have now come to enjoy it. I love that the clothes actually look like they are moving around the agitator unlike when I had an impeller style washer. That said I only use the Deep Wash setting. My clothes are not visibly soiled when they go into the wash so when they kept coming out with streaks I was so upset. I would have to rewash the load without soap 2 times and scrub out the streaks before rewashing I called LG and they recommended a tub clean using different soaps. After a few weeks of double washing loads I found the winning combo to be 1 Tablespoon of Tide Free gentle not All and the Lysol Laundry Sanitizer. No softener no perfumes and definitely no more than 1 Tablespoon of detergent. So if you want to save water this is not the machine for you. Sorry EPA but I need actually clean clothes.

A little hiccup

I bought this washer in August and I loved it at first but after a month in a half of having it I started getting the IE error message. I called customer service and tried all the suggestions to fix it and nothing worked. Had to have it serviced and thats when I found out it had a defective part that needed to be replaced. Now it works fantastic.

Dont buy from LG or Home Depot

This product arrived damaged and even the LG technician said it was beyond repair. Now both Home Depot and LG are jumping through loopholes to not replace it. I have two multi million dollar companies sticking it to me because the are cheap bullies who dont care about the little guy. I will NEVER buy from either of them again. I did not get a single wash out of this washer. Now Im out 800 bucks. They are so incompetent.

I did my research and found that LG was at the top of the list with Consumer Report as well as numerous reviews on YouTube. I particularly like the flexibility provided by the wash cycles. The washer is quiet and I enjoy having the ability to look through the led to check water level. Being old school I like the water level that the deep wash provides.

This washer is terrible

This washer arrived damaged. Home Depot delivered it and told me they did not know how to hook up the gas dryer I purchased with it. I paid for hook up. They hooked up the washer but I could not use it for weeks because Home Depot failed to hook up dryer. They created a ticket and wasted my time for weeks. When I finally was able to do a load of wash the washer flooded my laundry room. I called Home Depot to return it and they said it was too late- I had to return within 48 hours of delivery. I explained that I could not use it within 48 hours because TEHY failed to hook up the dryer. There response was basically too bad. They sent someone from LG to fix it and LG said it was not functional nor was it fixable and it needed to replaced. Home Depot wont replace it because they say LG should.. LG will not replace it because they say Home Depot should. Basically I have to multi million dollar companies arguing over who should take responsibility and UNTIL I shell out another 800 bucks for a new washer then I dont get to do wash. This has been going on for months. I have to eat the cost of the washer. Both companies suck. Run.

Broke after less than 6 months of use

I purchased this washer in May 2023. It broke in November 2023 after less 6 months of use. We have had LG come out to try to repair. But after 2 service visits and multiple replacement parts the unit is still not functioning. LG has not yet been willing to replace the unit in spite it being under warranty. There are clearly quality / quality control issues with this model I would not recommend.

I would highly recommend this LG washer We had recently bought a brand new GEwasher in February 2023. It was the worse washer ever. After a wash cycle the clothes were literally dripping wet. We had service tech out three times. Said nothing was wrong with it I was using to much soap? We went and bought a LG washer which was the best decision. This washer is amazing. Clothes are clean and wrung almost dry. Also love that fact that it has a timer so you know exactly how much time is left on a wash cycle. We definitely will be purchasing a LG product in the future if need be.

Poor washing performance

Our previous washer was a mid tier top loader without an agitator with okay but not great performance. When it broke we decided to replace it with a top loader with agitator because washing performance was supposedly superior. Unfortunately this machine does an awful job cleaning and uses significantly more water to boot. We have had an LG tech come out to make sure that it is operating properly and were told it is operating as expected. The capacity is also much less than we realized because the LG tech said we should only be filling it one half to two thirds full. After this experience I am unlikely to buy another product from LG again.

If I could give LG negative stars I would. I was horribly disappointed with their product and then their customer service was just as bad if not worse besides the service technician they were awesome. The service representative on the phone was literally yelling at me when I wasnt in agreement with their protocol of troubleshooting. Trying to then get transferred to their supervisor after being verbally accosted was also near impossible seeing there wasnt a supervisor on site? The supervisor sent a text message to me first before calling me back which I found strange and it would be days before I heard anything. I have been trying to return this machine for 3 months after having it for 1 month. No one listened to my problems and LG wouldnt stand behind their horrible product they are marketing. If you have children or soil your clothes in any way this washing machine will do absolutely nothing but spin your clothes out. Some clothes dont even seem like they get wet in the wash cycles and the only way we get our clothes maybe clean is by doing the deep fill on the heaviest soil setting and we usually have to wash things multiple times. Its horrible. I will never purchase anything LG ever again more so because of the customer service. Wow. So disappointed.

VERY POOR WARRANTY

I bought the washer two months ago and it is already not working. It took two Weeks to find someone to come to fix it. When they arrived they said they would have to order the parts and would come back. The tech indicated he should return in around a week. After waiting over a week I called the repair company to see why they had not returned. They told me LG cancelled the repair and they would call me and handle the issue It has now been close to a month and no one from LG has called even though I have called them several times and was told I would have to wait for them to call me.. How many people can go a day without a washer for their family? LG obviously doesnt care.

Bad washer

Worst washer ever. Hose Busted open after one week of having it. floods my garage so a tech orders the part and comes to install it. Then notices a piece was missing from the back of the washer so he orders another part.. Its a brand new washer why would there be a piece missing? So its been 2 weeks since. I havent been able to use my washer because now im waiting on another tech to come install both pieces. This has been nothing but a hassle.
